Tire Tread/belt problems of the 2003 Honda Accord

1 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 06/18/2007

Michelin xgt-h4 defect after 25,000 miles. Tire developed road noise and had irregular choppy tread on inside third of tire. Tire used for auto, installed by dealer on left rear of passenger car.

2 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 09/20/2005

During visit for rotation and rebalance (at 11,500 miles on tires, 3 years old), tires showed chucks of rubber missing and numerous small separations in tread. I called the manufacturer (michelin), but they refused to replace the tires, so I replaced the tires with another brand.

3 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 06/12/2003

Consumer states that while driving at 35 mph the left rear tire blew out without warning.
