1 Battery problem

Failure Date: 04/03/2012

While at a stop light, my car just shut off for no apparent reason. Prior to that I would have glitches (on/off) while listening to the radio but this happened while I was driving. I didn't notice the problem before but it just kept shutting off even though the gas tank was full and the battery in it is new. I took it into a mechanic for a diagnostic but nothing came up in their sensor. The mechanic looked at all of the connections and couldn't sense that there was an issue. I know that I didn't buy a new car but it had a full inspection. I'm worried that although it passed it's safety inspection if it is truly safe to drive since it keeps shutting off while driving and especially coming to stops.

2 Battery problem

Failure Date: 05/02/2010

While driving on a rainy day the battery signal flashes for a couple of seconds and the steering gets locked for approx 3 sec and after 3 sec it gets back to normal. It usually happens while turning and on a rainy day. This could result in a situation of life and death. Initially we thought it is just one off situation but these days the problem is increasing. We have got it checked at 2 places including pepboys and they could not figure out the problem.

3 Battery problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2009

I leased a 2004 Honda Accord ex v6 in may of 2004, from rick case in miramar FL. On August 31, 2005, I had to have my o ring discharge line replaced, due to leaking power steering fluid and noise. Then, on April 3, 2006 I had to have my entire radio/cd player changed out due to led not working and both back window motors replaced due to loud noise and rolling down slowly. In July 2006, I relocated to atlanta, GA and purchased this vehicle via retail (transferred the title) in August 2007. Then, November 9, 2007, I had to have the power steering pump replaced due to leaking fluids and a loud noise. Today is August 6, 2009 and I am again having the same power steering issues!! other problems that I am currently having with my car: had to get my battery changed August 9, 2007; window motor problems with both my front seat windows; internal lights not working on transmission gear-shift, over-head light. I am so unhappy with this Honda purchase as I thought that they were known for their longevity, especially since I have been the only owner and got the car brand new. The main thing is I need answers or directions as to what my next step. Please advise, thank you. I am still making payments on this car!! updated 08/07/09.

4 Battery problem

Failure Date: 07/10/2007

Stereo stopped working completely and has been draining the battery, even when the car is off. The battery has a 5 year warranty, but had to be replaced after only 3 years. After a mechanical diagnostic, it was determined that power is going to the stereo, but the stereo is not working. Specific cause for malfunction has still not been determined.

5 Battery problem

Failure Date: 12/28/2004

Honda Accord 2004, noise from brakes while driving forward and reverse. After numerous times of trying to correct the brake problem, the consumer was finally told the noise was a characteristic of the vehicle. The battery was replaced.

6 Battery problem

Failure Date: 09/05/2004

Could not start car on 2 occasions months apart. Originally thought steering wheel was locked hard against switch. This time switch easily turned but car seemed to have dead battery. Both times no further indication of battery problems.

7 Battery problem

Failure Date: 04/25/2004

Purchased car with 10 miles on it. Failed to start upon leaving dealership. Apparently loose wire. Salesman wiggled with cable and car started. Every day since the purchase of car, I would have a false start requiring a second or even third try to start the car. 25 days later, 1200 miles later, the car died and was towed to the nearest Honda dealer. Apparently, the battery was not installed properly and all cables surrounding the battery was loose and the headlamp cover was loose also. There is clunk noise when you initially put the car in drive and was told by the dealer that this is normal noise. There is a metallic rub when depressing on the brake and there is loud brake noise also. Dealer said this was normal also, but I'm not so sure of this.
