I was driving the car when the tire was punctured and the puncture went through the aluminum rim. I took the tire and rim to sears and they advised that this was not normal; they thought that the rim was defective. It is one thing for a nail to go through a tire, but it should not go through the rim.

I purchased bridgestone tires (4) April 2009 - replacing the same brand/type. They started out noisy and became progressively noisy. The prior set did not exhibit this problem. I have rotated the tires, but the problem continues and is far worse. This is an ongoing problem with the incident occurring upon purchase.

Toyo tires,manufacturing company tires are splitting in the center of it,s tire after approx;6,000 miles of use causing it to be unsafe I contact them to report it to the company,and the company refuse to have them recall or investigated,this was verified by the company of whom sold me there product that there was a major problem, when this type of split occur directly in the outside center. This company is headquartered,in japan and the product distributed in the u. S,and there consumer affair office is located in cypress California.

6 Tire problem

Failure Date: 01/03/2004

When accelerating only on wet surfaces tires slipped and slid. Dealer stated that it was normal, and just to stop and apply the gas again.
