The contact owns a 2005 Honda Accord. The contact stated that his driver seat position sensor wiring harness failed. The dealer stated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number 07v001000 (air bags:frontal:sensor/control module). The failure mileage was 36,000.
About 6 months after I purchased my new vehicle my leather began to buckle and had a vein-like appearance. I have talk to the warranty department for Honda who indicates this is "clearly a material defect". When I took the vehicle to the dealership to address the problem, I was told it would take months to get the new seats. I then took it to another dealership who told me that I need to condition the leather so the buckling was my fault.
