The vehicle was driven to the residence. The following day there were drops of power steering reddish in color fluid on the pavement. The contact also stated that the failure started approximately a month ago, but it gets better after adding power steering fluid. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic for a diagnosis. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 145,000. Bp.
