2004 Honda Accord transmission melted. Customer states while driving the vehicle, it would not accelerate and did not have any gears without any warning. Mechanic determined the transmission imploded. The mechanic informed the consumer that the gears had melted.

2 Transmission Not Go Into Gear problem

Failure Date: 06/15/2006

The contact owns a 2006 Honda Accord. While driving approximately 80 mph the vehicle would not shift into gear and the speed would not decrease. The contact shifted the gear to d3 in order to lower the speed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000.
