Air Bag Light On problems of the 2007 Honda Accord

Tl the contact owns a 2007 Honda Accord. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 19v501000 (air bags); however, the part for the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called nalley Honda (4197 jonesboro rd, union city, GA 30291) where the seat belt was removed for the repair; however, the part for the air bag repair was unavailable. The manufacturer was not notified. The contact also stated that the air bag warning indicator was illuminated. The approximate failure mileage was 168,000.

Passengers air bag light is always on.

Takata recall my 2007 Honda Accord airbag light has been on for the past 3 weeks, it stays, on the whole time I'm driving. Someone was fatally injured by the shrapnel a couple weeks ago when the airbag deployed, this make me extremely nervous. I'm not sure what my next step should be. This is the only vehicle that I have. I paid this car off last year. I cannot afford another car payment or a rental car at this time. If someone could get back to me and with information and or suggestions as to what I should do. I did submit a claim for the takata class action lawsuit but I'm not sure how long I will have to wait before I will know the outcome. I would appreciate it if someone would contact me as soon as possible regarding this urgent matter. I can provide photos if needed.

Takata recall-my driver & passenger side airbags were replaced due to recall. As I was driving about 1-2 weeks ago, my airbag light came on for no reason. I had nobody in the car with me and the dash stated my passenger airbag was off. I assume it stays off unless I have a passenger weighing x amount of lbs. Concerned.

Passenger airbag light flickering on and off, after some time driving stays lit on off under passenger airbag signal. The car was in motion on a city street for more than 10 minutes.

My Honda Accord had a recall for both drivers side and passenger side airbags. I called the Honda dealer closest to me to set up and appt. To get them replaced. Took my car into the ryan Honda dealership and they performed the work in a couple of hours. When I left the dealership, which was at the service department closing time, I noticed my seatbelt/airbag light was on, and would never go off (this light was not on before I had the parts replaced). I called the dealership to explain to them that the light came on after the airbags were replaced and will not go off. They told me that my seatbelt sensor was out and that had nothing to do with the airbags! well, my seatbelt sensor was not out before they did the work on my car. Now, I'm leary that the airbags were not installed properly or something because of the light being constantly on. I do appreciate Honda sending the airbag recall and footing the bill, but don't think it's fair to go into the dealership and something else gets messed up and I have to pay to get it repaired at my expense.

The side airbag light has been coming on and staying on. There has been no explanation or reason and no collision.

2007 Honda Accord ex-navigation. I have owned this vehicle since 2010 with 30k. They should be multiple recalls on this vehicle. In 2 occasions on the highway, I was unable to stop this vehicle. I rear ended one vehicle doing 45 mph without the airbags deploying. The airbag light stays on with it flashing. I had a complete brake system overhaul. Second time, the same thing happened. I pressed on the brakes and it takes so long for the vehicle to respond. Dealership told me there was no issue with the airbags or braking system. After both accidents the airbag light flashes and stays on. Also the the seat belts stay in a locked position and won't retract. Dealership says the piston in the seat belts were bad. I waited to have them fixed. Good thing because both seat belts retracted after three weeks. Separate issue with the seals on the outer doors. Every time it rains I end up with 3 inches of water on the driver side rear floor. I had the dealership also check this. They said they fixed the problem. All problems still occur to this day. I had owned Honda Accords all my life of 48 years. I have my doubts of ever buying another Honda vehicle after this awful experience.

I just bought a used Honda Accord 2007 and while driving it back home the srs driver airbag light went on and has been on and stays on from now on when I start the engine it goes of and then comes on and stays on, this is a safety matter of concern for me as if I get into an accident the airbags won't deploy and I really cant afford to get this fixed as I have read that Honda charges 800 dollars to fix it. Please do something about it. Thanks.
