Spark plug was ejected from cylinder head in #5 cylinder. I am continuing to have issues disspite having replaced that spark plug, and ignition coil twice so far. As well as repaired stripped threads by rethreading that cylinder. It overheats as well as rough idling and poorer driving perfomance.
My ac compressor started to scream or squeal very loudly then started to smoke as if a fire was about to start. So yes component failed or malfunctioned. Yes its available for inspection. Safety was at risk due to possible car engine fire. No hasn't been confirmed. No one but myself has inspected & witnessed this. No warning or light appeared on due to this event ever.
Green key light keeps blinking car won’t start transporter is good but the car won’t start .
The doors won’t unlock even though the key fob works (panic button goes off, headlights double flash when clicking lock button), however the door won’t unlock with the key fob button or the key itself, thereby leaving a person stranded outside in the cold in a potentially unsafe area. There is no way to get into the car in this situation. Very dangerous as my teenager was locked outside the car at 10:30 at night in 19 degree weather in a dark parking lot.
The car doesn’t move forward or backwards.
Website test please disregard.
Ignition destroyed.
Well I went to go look at a 2007 Honda Accord on Dec/4/2020 in chicago,IL & when I first picked up the vehicle it had 93,000 miles on it I even took it for a test driver around the block on 6430 s ellis it was driving fine into the check engine light came on soon as I left from getting my plates for the car so I decided to get it fixed just because I knew it had low miles so a month pass then my heater valve was broken my car started smoking on the highway so I let the car cool down & headed to the Honda downtown dealership to see what's the problem that's when the ran a diagnose they find multiple parts broken( rear sway bar link, heater valve, wheel alignment, windows, input & output hose, & purge valve) I tried my best to get everything fix on the car but I don't have enough money to make sure this car drive how it supposed too.
On startup, vehicle makes loud grinding noise coming from power steering. Vehicle is tough to turn left and right when in motion. Bubbles in power steering reservoir. Power steering fluid is leaking from hose that travels towards front of car and from power steering pump. Car has been sitting since Nov 2020 and I checked vehicle today and power steering fluid is still leaking from both hoses. Vehicle makes louder grinding noise when turning and is very stiff.
Currently experiencing warning light for air bags. Sometimes it stays on as I am driving, otherwise it will flash on and then turn off.
My power steering hose has 3 holes in it that not only makes it hard to turn on the road, but causes a huge spray of fluid all over the engine and covers everything under the hood. Then while I’m driving everything tries to burn off and it creates a horrible smell and on some cases, smoke.
Takata recall.
My heat and air sensor went out in my car. When I cut my air or heat on, it does nothing at all but show up on the screen.
Takata recall; (unknown)while starting my vehicle on yesterday I noticed my airbag symbol was illuminated on the dashboard for about 10 seconds. I started to drive and it went out 10 mph, also the passenger side airbag illuminates as well at speeds of 65 mph and goes out, maybe 2 months now.
This occurred while the car was still in motion. When I try to press the brakes to slow down, the car continues to accelerate while making a loud revving sound. This occurs about twice while I am driving. It is as if the car does not want to slow down at times.
I was traveling on hwy 5 in lancaster SC at 60 mph at night when a loud noise that sounded like a huge tree limb or something big and heavy fell on top of my car. I have a sun roof in my car. I then heard sounds of something sliding over the top of my car all the way down the back windshield and off. I slowed my car. After a few minutes to gather myself (this frightened me very much) I picked speed up again and the sound hit again. Scared me all over again. No cars in front of me and one about 4 car lengths behind me. The car behind me did not seem to be having any trouble. I though the object that hit my car may have caused the car behind me problems too, but they seemed fine. Remember it was night and dark. There was no where to pull over on this highway. I finally got home and got out and looked at my car. The sun roof had a big 2 foot long hole in it. It was about 5 inches wide. It was shattered. After researching online, I have come to the conclusion that the sun roof exploded. I called the dealership and they claim to never have heard of this before. It is online. I have file this with my auto insurance and pay a deductible. I do not have this money. The dealership should recall these and repair them. This happens to the older cars. It happens when the speed is around 55 mph and over. Please help.
Front axle broke while driving on highway and front passenger wheel was ripped off and flew behind car. Lost control and hit a guardrail. Accord was the ex-l version and did not have a scratch on it. Car had barely over 100,000 miles on it. No one hurt but car was total loss.
My car gets stuck in park it locks I toke it back to where I'm buying it from and they gave me a run around I have to take the key and stick it in the lock hole where you lock the shift to in lock it and it jumps while you take it out of gear the young man told me not to park it on a hill for it my jump out of park but it locks it park I have to unlock it then but it in n in order to put in it drive or revere the dealership says it not under warranty but I found out that it is under warranty because it comes from the motor so what's my next step into fixing this problem and I'm still paying for this car just a year in and have 2 more years paying on this car second Honda from the same dealership had problems with the other Honda help please.
Unintended acceleration while braking. This has happened to my wife on a number of occassions when approaching a stop sign or red light. Thid has also happened to me a few times - twice in the past week.
The car stops moving even though it's turned on. In park it started rolling. No matter what gear its in it did not move when my foot was on the gas. I also have a power steering leak. Both which are a part of a recall so I don't know why my car isn't on this list.
Rear windshield shattered. Car was parked and when driver side door was closed the rear windshield just shattered into pieces.
Passenger window and rear windows stop working at the same time.
Pps indicator light came on two days after driving. Lost control of braking and steering while driving in heavy traffic in the rain. Car steered off interstate I-635 w onto median in plano TX.
Sunroof exploded while vehicle in motion on the highway.
Was on way home from a trip was over 2 hours away, while on freeway the car stops and and rpm went to red. I pulled over to side of road and turned car off. Waited 10 minutes and started it and drove the few feet to rest area entrance and rpm went high again. Am 32 weeks pregnant I had my two. Daughters and 21 month old son. We were standed at rest stop for 7 hours. The situation was dangerous tht without warning the car stops gasing and car would not move, had another vehicle been behind me we would have been hit. We were very lucky no one was behind us at that moment. There was no funny noise no dash lights coming on. No indication something was about to happen. Something that could have cost us our lives, something needs to be done about this. A recall.
I own a 2007 Honda Accord and within the past two years I've replaced the driver front tire twice. The first time I didn't think much of it, the second time replacing it , it got me thinking, "ok, what's going on and why is it only this tire I need to replace again?" I'm thinking there is an alignment issue? we need this problem resolved because I can not keep buying tires every year. We don't go on long trips, we stay in our home town so I know it's not just normal wear and tear. Something is wrong, which is why I am reporting this problem. Below I provided two pictures. One bad tire and the other good tire. (you can clearly tell which one is the bad tire-driver side tire) please follow up with me about this issue. Greatly appreciated.
I lowered the passenger side window today, and was unable to raise it. I was told by a mechanic that the problem is the regulator. I have recently read about the class action suit in California concerning the same problem. The vehicle was in motion, as I was traveling a three hour trek on a Saturday afternoon during cold, rainy weather. Needless to say, Honda dealership was three hours away and were closed upon arrival. I am forced to wait until Monday for a temporary glass replacement and also to have the window problem resolved.
Window on passenger side front and back are making bringing noises and front will not roll up.
This is the second time my ac has gone out in the middle of the summer in phoenix, az. The first time was 8/10/2011. This is now 4 years later and my ac made a horrible sound while driving, I pulled to the side of the road. My ac no longer functions and only blows hot air. It is +110 outside by noon. The only difference between this time and the first time is the first time there was no horrible noise, the ac just refused to turn on. I called Honda the first time and they didn't care since my car just ended the warranty period. This is a certainly a big issue that my car ac needs to be fixed every 4 years!.
Was driving on the 5 fwy and heard a grinding sound so I pulled over to the shoulder. My car then would no longer drive. A group of gentlemen helped me put the car in neutral and we pushed it off the shoulder to the gravel. I had to call a tow to take me and my car 92 miles to the Honda dealer where I service my car. I have a stellar service record with the Honda dealer and have only driven approximately 10,000 miles per year. The dealer identified the problem as a failed transmission. This is the second Honda Accord v6 where the transmission failed: I had a 1998 and it failed in 2006 with approximately the same mileage as the 2007.
I purchased/financed a used- 2007 Honda Accord on 4/2/2015. Outside of an airbag recall notice received in June, there were 4 consecutive electrical malfunctions that occurred and is currently pending - 1) rear driver-side window motor seized, 2) both keyless fobs stopped working and requires reprogramming, According to mechanic, 3) cd/aux button no longer functioning, and 4) rear driver, passenger, and front passenger-side window motors have all seized and no longer functioning. It should be noted that the salesman did not disclose physical front bumper damage on sale date, and did not offer any corrective action upon notification. Vehicle was stationary in dealership's possession over a year - from sale date. However, they (owner/salesman) guaranteed the condition of the vehicle as above standard and recommended extended warranty.
Power windows. Only window that works is the driver side. This is a safety issue I would think. So many complaints and you guys do nothing. When are you going to do a recall on this problem? do you not see a problem here? I have a window that got busted out by a a rock and now I can't get it fixed because the window will not go down. Do something about your car issues. Safety issues here hello.
This is a well maintained, low mileage vehicle. It has been regularly serviced. The paint has all flaked over the rear window and is beginning to do so in the gullies of the trunk.
I have a red 2007 Honda Accord that I've only had for a few years and the paint has peeled along with its clear coat making it look rusty on the hood and trunk of the car. I've been told it's due to the quality of primer and paint that Honda uses. I wanted to know if there is something that can be done fix this issue.
After a week long period of heavy rain, three out of four power window switches on the driver's side door failed. It seems like the 'master power window switch' may have shorted out. All windows except the driver's window fail to open now from any window switch in the entire car. After searching online, people report this to be a common problem in this generation of Accords (2003-2007). Honda has also recalled the Honda fit 2007-2008 for this same reason/part. . Read more...
