2007 Honda Accords trunk spring seems to have no effect, and it slams down easily if it is not fully raised. The trunk slammed down on my wife's arm a few times when she is putting in the grocery (her wrist was badly bruised). I took it to the dealership, but they will not fix it stating that it is not an issue. Honda did fix the problem for the 2009 model.
