3 Tire Sidewall problem

Failure Date: 04/04/2011

I have owned a set of yokohama avids for the past 2 years and roughly 20,000 miles. In that time I have had 3 side wall failures. One from a pot hole, one from a raised man hole cover and one from a nail going through the sidewall. All three tires were completely destroyed. In 24 years of driving I have only had this happen these 3 times. The original set of tires were michelin's and there were no issues with side wall failures in over 50,000 miles.
