I bought two Honda's on the same day from proctor Honda in tallahassee, FL. The 2009 Accord has been recalled for a safety defect. . I contacted the dealer I bought them from and was told via e mail they would not have time to make that repair until 11-7-2011 or later. I was just at the dealer getting an oil change and they were working on every kind of car the us makes. It is not a recall if they decide to assign insufficient resources to correct this. It is an unsafe joke! this repair takes one hour or less According to another family member that had it done in jacksonville.
My Honda Accord 2009 is only 33, 216 miles, less than 2 years old but t the abs has problem, I have to replace wheel speed sensor, Honda does not cover because the warranty is over. I have never had abs problem with my 2002 Accord that has mileage is over 100,000. I would like to report this issue as abs malfuntion.
Since the first incident I have had a clicking noise coming from the ac on the right side vent on my 2009 Honda Accord. It is October of 2011 and the dealer has now replaced the same blower motor 3 times. It alleviates the issue, only for it to return. The dealer has no other explanation. Also, I have replaced 2 door actuator motors. This car was bought in December of 2009 and it is October of 2011. I will not buy another Honda due to having issues occur repeatedly and so soon after a new purchase. Obviously brakes have to be fixed again and again.
A noise has developed in our 2009 Honda Accord in the dash, where the passenger side and right side "a" pillar air bags are located. The car has been returned to a local dealer on 3 seperate occasions. They continue to repair the problem by installing some type of padding in the dash. After each repair, the noise returns after driving about 10 miles. I have asked them on two seperate occasions to remove the dash/air bags and inspect the effected areas. I have also reported the problem to the Honda customer assistance department. They have indicated they will review my information and have someone call back. My concerns are; that something is loose, creating the noise, along with the fact that some type of problem may exist with the air bags which could result in either an unwanted/non deployment situtation or if something is rubbing on a wiring harness a passenger compartment fire.
2009 Honda Accord 4 cyylinder, 22k miles-original owner accelerator got stuck and car continued to accelerate on the on ramp to I-64 in louisville, ky. Tried to downshift, even tried neutral. Engaged the brakes and the brakes locked up. Eventually the brakes released and I was able to coast to a median in the middle of the highway. Very thank I didn't hurt anyone. Took car to the Honda dealership and they say that their diagnostic test shows that nothing is wrong. Nothing registered on the car computer. I am 100% certain that the pedal was not caught on the floor mat. One of the most frightening experiences of my life. I will be buying a new car immediately.
2009 Honda Accord 4 cyl 1) car whines at 1300 rpms. Very annoying. Honda says that all of them whine and that it is normal. It sounds like a very cheap car instead of a high end Honda Accord. 2) at low sped and I make a sharp turn, the power steering pulsates. Honda garage said it has a single belt system and that they all persistent like that and it is normal.
