The contact owns a 2009 Honda Accord. Within months of owning the vehicle, there was water intrusion during heavy rain. The rear driver's side paneling, electrical function area, and side curtain air bag area was wet. The vehicle was not inspected and diagnosed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 77,000.
Chain reaction where I was the last vehicle in a stopped line of cars I was rear ended by an usb who was traveling fast and never attempted to brake the SUV struck the rear of my Accord and pushed me into the car in front my car had crushed rear end and crumpled front end while the side air beg went off the front air bag did not deploy. . . . This is my concern since it struck the front of the next vehicle causing damage.
The sunroof shattered for no apparent reasons, no cars nearby, sunny day. There was a pop, then the sunroof glasses started to come down.
Car is black and 5 years ago showed signs of the paint falling apart. Now the paint is getting really bad. I took it to 2 dealers ibwas told because of the sun. Its southern California so I said it's in a shade when parked home but cant always be shaded. I was told nothing can be done.
The white paint on my 2009 Honda Accord is flaking off in big chunks all the way down to the beige under-layer. It started on the channels around my rear windshield. I then noticed spots on the trunk, drivers side door and roof. This is unacceptable! after consulting a local repair shop, it was determined that the paint is not adhering - manufacturer error!.
I am currently having water leakage from the headliner right where the side curtain airbags are located. This is occurring on both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle. I am concerned not only for the damage this is causing to my vehicle but because if I were to be in an accident I am afraid that airbags will malfunction and not deploy.
The noise coming from the passenger side under the glove box when the air is on is annoying and pretty loud. The radio can't even conceal the sound at low volume. Likewise, the glove box isn't latched According to the lines of the dash (1 cm gap). The glove box moves and rattles. The seat also rattles and shakes when going over any surface whether highway or city streets. . . These noises are just too much. The car is 09 not 1988. Actually 1988 probably wouldn't have all these problems. The deal said the air noise is normal??? sorry it's not normal to not be able to talk to someone because the car feels like it's breaking down and noise is coming from every direction.
Tl-the contact owns a 2009 Honda Accord. The contact stated the soft leather upholstery on the arm rest exhibited numerous bubbles. In addition, the top exterior door panel leather upholstery on the front driver and passenger side had bubbles. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 89,000. Js.
At speeds between 65 and 70 mph the car vibrates as if the wheels were out of balance. Have had the wheels balanced twice in the past month with no change. Had the car aligned within the past month and dealer says there was no change. A new set of michelin mxm4 primacy tires were installed in April 2012. Just returned from a 3000 mile trip and found the vibration to be very annoying. This is a Honda Accord 4dr ex-l v-6 help.
Since the first incident I have had a clicking noise coming from the ac on the right side vent on my 2009 Honda Accord. It is October of 2011 and the dealer has now replaced the same blower motor 3 times. It alleviates the issue, only for it to return. The dealer has no other explanation. Also, I have replaced 2 door actuator motors. This car was bought in December of 2009 and it is October of 2011. I will not buy another Honda due to having issues occur repeatedly and so soon after a new purchase. Obviously brakes have to be fixed again and again.
A noise has developed in our 2009 Honda Accord in the dash, where the passenger side and right side "a" pillar air bags are located. The car has been returned to a local dealer on 3 seperate occasions. They continue to repair the problem by installing some type of padding in the dash. After each repair, the noise returns after driving about 10 miles. I have asked them on two seperate occasions to remove the dash/air bags and inspect the effected areas. I have also reported the problem to the Honda customer assistance department. They have indicated they will review my information and have someone call back. My concerns are; that something is loose, creating the noise, along with the fact that some type of problem may exist with the air bags which could result in either an unwanted/non deployment situtation or if something is rubbing on a wiring harness a passenger compartment fire.
