1 Transmission Solenoid problem

The contact owns a 2010 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would not properly accelerate and experienced high revving when shifting from first to second gear. Also, the transmission would not shift above second gear. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the ab solenoid was faulty. The solenoid was replaced however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer matt castrucci Honda located at 3013 mall park dr, dayton, OH 45459, who perform a software update to the automatic transmission module as per NHTSA campaign number: 11v395000 (power train) however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 125,000.
