I have responded to Honda's recall notices for airbag repairs on this 2011 car several times and told them that the car was leased in 2011 and returned to Honda in 2014. I am concerned that whoever Honda sold this car to is not receiving recall notices. On the last notice that I received, I wrote on the information change card provided that the car was returned at joyce Honda in denville, NJ when I leased a 2014 Honda. I also wrote that I would notify NHTSA of Honda's inability to correct the recall notice. I just received another notice on 2/15/2021. Takata recall I received a recall notice dated July 2016 informing me of the recall but saying that the parts were not available. I never received a second notice that the parts were available. Recently I scheduled the repair with holler Honda of orlando FL. I assumed I would be given a car to drive while the repair was being done. I was told that I would not be furnished a car which meant that I would have to rent a car or pay taxi fare. Since this air bag defect is not of my doing I feel that I shouldn't have to pay anything out of my pocket. Am I right or wrong? I feel the recall should be totally cost free.

29 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 10/18/2016

Takata recall. Nothing has happened so far thank god. But I believe sufficient time has passed since the recall notice and there is still no solution for my recall. They advice to not have anyone on the passanger side as they coul potentially be harmed by this issue but how much longer am I supposed to keep this up? this is a two door car so imagine the hassle of asking people to ride in the back. This is a huge inconvenience. I don't feel safe driving on this conditions, is there anything that can be done to speed up a solution or any other alternatives. I've considered to return my car if thats what it takes. Provided they pay a fair value for it since my car is already paid off.
