I have took my car to the shop because it keeps speeding up and down and they said they didn't couldn't find anything wrong with the transmission and it's still doing it and I had the transmission fluid change hoping it would help it but it didn't . . They changed the fluid but not the filter. . Now the transmission seal is leaking. . I have had this car to the shop several times. . The car speeds up going up or down hills or driving straight on flat roads.

5 Suspension problem

Our car was making a left turn and was struck by other car in the right front. One passenger was in front seat. The passenger air bag fully deployed preventing her from impacting windshield. The driver air bag only partially deployed (approximately 1/3 size of passengers). The driver was severely bruised by seatbelts.

6 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 04/19/2012

I brought the car used certified with 6,800 miles. After a week of driving, the car feels like it has a mind of it own,I don't have full control of the car. Every time I hit a bump the car will swing left and right. Or when I'm going over 55 mph on the highway, the car moves left and right by it self. Something feels loose, I was driving local on 11/25/12 and made a left turn, the engine just shut off on me, I took it back to the dealer and the dealer found nothing wrong with the car or with the suspension. My friend have the same problem with his car, the suspension on the 2011 Honda Accord se don't feel right. The problem needs to be corrected, I have a 2 year old and a new born in my house that goes in and out of this vehicle. I don't need to wait until something happens for the dealer or manufacturer to fix the problem.

7 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 06/04/2011

My car has a steering shimmy and vibration problem that began as mild and is now severe and vibrates the entire vehicle. Honda balanced my tires several times, then replaced all 4 michelin pilot tires with 4 new ones. Those had to be repeatedly balanced and then were replaced a 2nd time in less than 1,000 miles. The 2nd set was repeatedly balanced with no results. Both front axles were replaced and both front rotors were replaced with the vibration never changing. Honda's area rep agreed to replace wheels and tires with after market bbs wheels and bridgestone serenity tires to rule out wheel and tire problems. Problem did not change and has now gotten worse as the mileage increases. (9k miles now). You can google 2011 Honda Accord shimmy problem and see that the problem is widespread in the USA and canada, but Honda USA is telling me that I am the only one. I have bought 4 brand new Accord exl v6 cars in 8 years, have loved these cars, and am very surprised that Honda is flat out lying to me. My dealer has been helpful and supportive, and the area rep has been diligent in his efforts, too. However Honda USA is stonewalling me, by not returning calls, and delay after delay. I have asked for a buyback under lemon law statute, as the dealer says that they cannot fix this problem, that they definitely acknowledge. (they replaced tires 3 times, and wheels and axles once) Honda USA is taking the position that this is not a big deal, but the vehicle is not safe to drive. Honda USA told me to take the car back to the dealer today, but the dealer doesn't want it and says that Honda is done chasing the problem. Can you help me understand my options, and if your administration can assist me in getting Honda's attention at (hopefully) a higher level of management? I sincerely appreciate any suggestions that you can offer.
