general problems of the 2015 Honda Accord

Abs modulator assembly has left me stranded I see that this has been a major issue for Honda's. There has not been any recalls for this issue but they see that it is a major problem. I was told by king Honda in auburn alabama that this is a $2000 dollar issue and they do not know when the part will be available due to being on backorder. Please advise.

Getting error p2602 low voltage coolant pump. No visible sings of failure or damage to the pump or wiring. Tested power, ground, and signal and found them all to be ok. Vehicle has 133,000 miles. Engine is not running hot at all. Very cool to the touch, error p2602 causes car to go into limp mode and can not drive past 40 mph. Issue could be from pump recalls from other Honda models that used the same pump that is in the 2015 Honda hybrids. Honda did not include 2015 Honda hybrid in the recall when they should have, because its the same pump that was recalled in other Hondas. Took the car to dealer in auburn, wa, hinshaw's Honda. Please get report from them. To get a second opinion took car to an independent Honda repair. Again same issue, stating pump replacement.

Issue where multiple dashboard indicator lights coming on. Tire pressure, abs, power steering, and traction control lights specifically all on at the same time. Car typically drives fine but will intermittently not want to accelerate and/or brakes are trying to apply themselves while trying to accelerate. This is a dangerous safety issue as I could be driving on the highway the car all of sudden would not continue accelerating. Short term workaround is turning traction control off but does not last. In general issue seems to be electrical. Could be battery, abs module needing a reset to neutral, wheel speed sensors are bad, pcm module faulty, fuel pump failing, vsa issue or needing a reset, faulty wiring, or a combination of all of these mentioned. I took to a Honda dealership (mall of GA) and they could not resolve the issue and recommended a vsa module replacement which is a $2000+ repair. This issue came up for me in mid-July 2023 and as of this post is still an issue. This should be recall as I keep seeing complaints about this online in various forums for 2012-2017 Honda Accords.

Winter 2022 the problem occurred after icy conditions in texas and abs, traction control and steering system lights came on in my gage cluster, since then I have tried many things to fix the issue went as far as replacing the knuckle full assembly with abs speed sensor. Later I search across the internet of Honda owners and noticed its a common issue and a very expensive 1, my local Honda quoted $2800 for the part. My safety has been compromised on many occasions including brakes locking during wet conditions, my car slipped out of control because of the lack of traction control nearly causing a bad accident. I have been driving extremely cautiously, and during wet conditions driving my other vehicle. Due to the abs/vsa module malfunction there are so many components attached to the system including tpms, srs, steering system, and including but not limited to abs, currently all these lights are on in my dashboard please investigate this common issue that many Honda owners experienced and after further research many youtubers opened module to discover a lot of circuit to selinoid issues, please help us make Honda accountable for there mistakes and faulty parts that are so expensive and cheaply made, that may or have caused so many americans hardship and financial repercussions. I shall be very tahnkful.

The drive shaft light is on and clicking, car is extremely hard to turn in any direction or drive.

I can always feel that the transmission is not responsive. Every now and then when I back up or the car moves into the first gear after I put it in the drive mode it takes awhile before it really moves. It staggers and stalls before the acceleration finally kicks in. The scariest incident was when I needed to accelerate onto the highway on the entry ramp and the car was stalling and refusing to increase torque and speed even though the acceleration pedal was all the way floored. It almost caused a major crash from the rear. Every Honda dealer I go to cannot seem to replicate the issue I keep experiencing and dismiss my account as if it is in my head. I wish someone addresses this important warning urgently before there is a catastrophic car incident involving our lives. Looking forward to a prompt resolution to a recurring issue. My guess is that there was a transmission software update from the dealership when I first bought the car which has caused this recurring transmission issue which Honda refuses to acknowledge.

Driving at interstate speeds, I had the engine suddenly **thunk** and lose power. I limped it to the side of the road to get out of traffic. I went to investigate and the vehicle would not even idle. It just shut off after having it towed back to local service company, looked at, and the dealership I bought it at to look at, I am told the main bearing failed on the connecting rod. The thunks I hear is the rod spinning in there, shearing off metal shavings that are now all over inside the engine bay. Honda has a TSB out for the car, for this exact issue, but my VIN number somehow doesn't fit in their window. Component that failed - main bearing on the connecting rod safety of myself and others - gave out while driving highway speeds, which caused the car to lose power to keep it at highway speeds. Had to limp it to the shoulder reproduction of problem - yes, at an independent service center and a dealership service center component inspected - not by any of the listed people, just the service centers warning lamps, messages, symptoms - none whatsoever I have amazon receipts of items purchased for all at home maintenance done on the vehicle since it was bought new. I do not have a scanner handy for the service center documentation and receipts.

Honda Accord touring hybrid 2015. I was parked in front of a building and the car speed up and crashed against a wall. I was not stepping on the gas or the breaks. The car was on parking. I got injured and the airbags deployed. I did some research on the internet and this has happened before. I am glad I am fine.

After exiting a drive-thru car wash, drove through the parking lot and stopped behind a car exiting via a driveway onto main street. While I applied brake the engine began to race up to 5000 rpm. I was unable to keep the car from creeping forward with major force on the brakes. I moved the shift lever to n and pressed the start/stop button, shutting down the engine to avoid collision with the car in front of me. After the car in front of me exited, I re-started the car and everything appeared normal. Have not had a recurrence of the problem. Have not taken the car to the dealer yet because I'm not sure that I trust them. Similar previous complaints: 11331361, 11235107, 11142830, 11121723, 11119028, 11062545, 10948426 & 10860066. Seems to be a serious recurring safety issue.

Loss of engine power, no acceleration while engaging the gas foot pedal, shacking of car and unable to accelerate. First time, vehicle was in motion on a city street second time, while turning to merge on to freeway ramp and continues to do it soon after starting the vehicle and becoming mobile on city streets.

The driver and passenger were slightly injured and hospitalized. A police report was filed. It was not determined whether or not the vehicle was totaled. The other vehicle was destroyed. There were no recalls for the failure. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified and provided a case number. The manufacturer stated that they would tow the vehicle to a Honda dealer after it was serviced at an independent body shop. The failure mileage was 50,000.

Acceleration hesitation. I have bow owned this car one year and today (may 23, 2018) was the 7th time that hesitating while leaving a stop sign or signal light, has happened. Twice its cause a vehicle to slam on their brakes behind me.

, while driving on the highway it was perfectly fine but when time came to get off I stoped at the first light, tried to drive off then the car started pulling, took off driving then the car just totally shut off no type of warning that there might be a problem and also no dash board lights lite up to notify me that there was a problem.

Upon breaking car accelerated, happened on two occasions, brought car to Honda and they found no defects. Happened again with more severity, informed Honda and to date they have nor contacted me regarding this same problem.

During stand still and driving, when I step on acceleration pedal the car often time hesitates to move. To avoid an accident, I have to press hard on acceleration pedal, then she moves too fast. In an another word, I can't control the car speed in the way I want at 60 percent of the time.

Bought the car brand new back in July 2015. On 10/16/2016 I took the car on I-66 and at about 80 mpl the car started jerking and knocking. Engine runs fine at idle but knocks even at a speed < 20 mph. Had the car towed to nearest Honda dealership and waiting to hear from them. It has about 11k miles on it. Can see a safety recall on 2015 Honda Accord with similar symptoms.

While driving in stop and go traffic, either on the highway or on residential streets, occasionally, the vehicle will hesitate. This hesitation will last 1-3 seconds and then the vehicle will accelerate as expected. This hesitation can cause a dangerous situation since the vehicle will not move as expected. The vehicle was purchased new, and this has occurred since its purchase. I've taken it to the Honda dealer, but they can not duplicate it since it is an intermittent issue. Their response was to stop using the econ button. I have stopped using this feature, but the issue has persisted, (although it has lessened in occurrences). The issue can occur 1-2 times per week, with the last occurrence on 12/8/15. There is a technical service bulletin on the vehicle 15-036, which may or may not be related, but last time at the dealer, they couldn't find the TSB, so the software update likely has not been made to the vehicle.

Intermittently, but always upon acceleration (could be pulling onto the highway from a stopped position, merging/speeding up to get on the highway or pass another vehicle, or starting to move when the light turns green) the car will fall flat with no power. It doesn't stall, just doesn't respond to the gas pedal. Most times, happens in second gear. Releasing the gas pedal and then pressing it again most times resolves the problem. Sometimes, it takes a few tries. This is a very dangerous problem, and I have had many motorists swerve around me or blow the horn at me because I can't get the car moving fast enough. I just spent $30,000 on this new car, and the dealership cannot duplicate the problem so they're sending me on my way with a vehicle that's a potential death trap.
