I was driving approx 70 mph on the interstate hwy when I engaged the cruise control. Shortly after that the car began braking. Pressing the accelerator wouldn't disengage the cruise control. The car came to a complete stop in the middle lane of the interstate. Only after turning off the engine and restarting was I able to drive.
