The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to exceed 10 mph while driving. In addition, the contact stated when the vehicle was started, several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with head gasket, fuel injectors, and turbo charger failures. The contact was informed that the head gasket, fuel injector, and the turbo charger needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The contact was advised to contact the NHTSA hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 90,012.
