The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 75 mph, the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to pull over to the shoulder of the road. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was driven to a local dealer where it was diagnosed that the wheel bearings had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 23v858000 (fuel system, gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 79,000.
