My bluetooth would not connect to my infotainment system. My android auto then could not connect. I'm told by the Honda service tech that from time to time when the system updates we would need to do a factory reset to align the latest update with the phone. That's what I did, and the screen came on but said contact dealership. The screen was blank otherwise and had no power to it, not radio no system information etc, so I had no access to anything. On the dash it says system update unavailable and to contact dealership. I took in the car but they are still trying to diagnose. One thing did flash on my screen, code error variant 99.

On February 15 Sunday night my 2024 Accord was broken in by thieves. Honda’s door lock system was so easy that robbers were able to hack it and open the driver door easily. After which steering wheel airbag was stolen. There was another Honda Accord 2025 model also parked which belong to my family member, was also hit by same thieves and was a victim of door brake in and steering wheel airbag stolen. I would like to file complaint against Honda’s week security system which allowed the thieves to easily brake into our vehicles. Upon checking the internet I came across videos of how easy it is to steel the airbags since it only requires 2 small flathead screw drivers to unlatch the steering wheel air bag. During my conversation with police who files my report mentioned that “ Honda is being hit with these cases a-lot and Honda vehicles can easily be started with wifi system”. I spoke to the service advisor at Honda who is fixing my car about this issue, he responded saying “ there is nothing we can do. The best thing you can do is put steering wheel lock bar on it”. At this point I don’t feel safe having Honda vehicle at all. What can prevent them from not breaking to my car again after being fixed? at this point it is a high risk for me for constantly paying insurance deductibles and chances of insurance premiums increments and worst of all a constant stress every night of being hit again.

Vehicle was taken to Honda of round rock for the integrated control module (icm) recall (NHTSA recall 25v785). The dealership performed partial service but stated a 'gateway' part is on backorder. Since this service, the vehicle has been returned to us with a non-functional speedometer, non-functional speed sensor, no a/c/defrost, and multiple disabled safety sensors. Driving without a speedometer is a severe safety hazard. The manufacturer has provided no timeline for the part and refused a loaner, leaving us with an un-roadworthy vehicle as a direct result of a recall repair attempt.

[xxx] my car was stolen from this address. The thieves were able to bypass security system. The thieves were able to bypass the factory security system and/or alarm. I reported the incident to the police. They did not hand me a report number but took my information and want this complaint documented as a potential security system issue. The keys were in my possession, and no modifications were made to the factory security system. I request that Honda log this complaint for investigation and provide me with a case number for my records. Please let me know if additional information is required. The tt04 error appeared immediately following completion of fuel pump recall service (NHTSA campaign 24v-763) on 4/12/2025. The vehicle exhibited no infotainment or telematics issues prior to this recall service. This suggests the recall repair procedure either was performed incorrectly or has an inherent flaw that damages the telematics control unit (tcu) communication system. When I returned for subsequent recall service (NHTSA campaign 25v-785), the dealer dismissed the issue as 'normal' and refused repair, only offering to address it after I filed a formal complaint with management. This pattern suggests dealers are aware this is a consequence of recall work but are systematically dismissing customers rather than correcting their errors.

I was traveling to kentucky from nyc in December 2025 and while in pennsylvania a sign on my dash stated your safety equipment was out because of a build up on the front lens outside of the car and it stated to stop and clean it off, so I pulled off to the side of the highway and stopped my car and when I stiffed it into park there was a griming noise from the transmission. When I went into the dealership for my next oil change I reported it and they didn't even want to note this down on my service report. They said it happened to long ago and they didn't care about the problem, I just wanted them to know for future use. Also another issue happened a couple of months prior while stopped on the highway near my home because of traffic, my car shifted from drive into park by itself without the shifter moving I don't know what happened but I moved the shifter from drive to park and moved it back to drive. And again I reported this and they didn't want to even note on my service report . Not happy about this situation either. Then I received a text message from the dealership that they wanted to buy my car against a trade in and I said to myself if they refuse to record my problems I 'll take my business somewhere else.

Summary of the issue •I originally scheduled the recall repair with braman Honda of lake worth, and they canceled my appointment the day before, stating they could not perform the recall. •I then attempted to contact ed morse Honda, who did not answer multiple calls. •when I called Honda customer service, I asked to escalate to a supervisor, and was denied. •Honda assigned a case manager, but scheduled a repair appointment for me without confirming my availability, at a time I could not attend. •when I called ed morse Honda to reschedule, they informed me that they cannot perform the recall because the software required for the update is not working. •I was told to simply “wait,” with no timeline, no workaround, and no assurance of safety. Safety risk this recall involves a system failure that could cause the vehicle to stall or shut down unexpectedly. I am now: •driving a car with an unrepaired safety recall, •receiving warnings from my insurance company that the recall must be completed, •feeling unsafe and potentially liable for an accident if my vehicle fails due to Honda’s inability to perform the recall.

On 11/19/2025, while operating my 2025 Honda Accord hybrid, I experienced a sudden and total loss of power while the vehicle was in motion. Despite pressing the accelerator, the vehicle failed to respond. I noticed the 'ready' indicator disappeared on the dashboard, signifying a powertrain system shutdown. This caused me to lose control of the vehicle's speed and positioning, resulting in a collision. I believe this incident is a direct result of the defective integrated control module (icm) software identified in NHTSA recall 25v-785 (manufacturer recall tn2), which causes the cpu to reset and cut drive power during operation.

When making a left turn, my car suddenly bucked up onto the air feeling like I ran over a big obstacle which was not the case. Car came to sudden stop and I was thrown forward over steering wheel. Thankfully no one was behind me or it would have been catastrophic. The first week I owned the car, when going through a car wash, the car started jumping up and down and wouldn't move forward. Had to back out of carwash. Dealer told me it was the collision mitigation system and to turn it off before going in. The "brake" light on dash periodically flashes when no cars are in front of me. I am truly afraid to drive this car which only has 5,800 miles on it. Dealer can't find a problem. I am turning off collision feature every time I drive, but what if I forget? I believe this is an extremely dangerous defect and should be looked into. It doesn't always happen, but when it does. . .

I was sitting in my car, and the entire steering and brake system went offline and the car had a bunch of hazard lights on and said to tow to a dealership. I tested the steering, and didn’t feel the wheels turn with the steering wheel, and the brakes went to the floor. When I went to shut off my car, it did the emergency shut-off (press 2xs or hold for 3 seconds). I attempted to restart the car about 4 times that night, and then I let it sit and tried it again 2 more times before having it towed to the dealership. The dealership stated they received the car and everything was suddenly fine and there were no code history, and they could not tell me the issue. Prior to this, the only issue I had was the car braking when no one was in front of me, but no issues with the steering wheel. With the entire brake system and steering system out, it could have caused a serious accident if I was driving at the time, but I was parked.

I had a flat tire while driving on 7/8/25 and the tpms error did not show up in the car screen. I informed the dealer hoen Honda motors of carlsbad, CA, and he mentioned that tpms will not work for flat tire.

I was driving down the highway when my sunroof exploded out of no where. No debris hit my vehicle. The explosion was extremely loud and spontaneous. My safety was put at great risk as there is nothing I could have done to prevent this problem. As I am going 75 miles an hour with vehicles behind me, my glass exploded. This glass could have fallen onto me while driving, seriously injured ,or even, and killed me. Luckily my sun shade was closed. The debris from my shattered sunroof could have seriously injured the vehicle behind me.

Purchase new delivery date: August 13, 2024 on Saturday June 7, 2025 after temperatures reached 93? I noticed a cracking in windshield starting from plastic cover near windshield wipers. The cracking rapidly spread upward which is currently about 8 inches in length. This windshield hasn't been struck by any object. If windshield is replaced with any windshield other than a oem from Honda it will void warranty on camera system. To replace with a oem from Honda I was quoted over $2,000. 00. This cracking has started due to poor materials used in the production of windshield or is either too thin. There is numerous reports of such on Honda 11th generation forums.

On 11/11/2024 while at an intersection with a redlight, I was the first car in the "merge to the right" short lane, stopped and waiting on right lane traffic on the road that intersected to clear. When it was safe to go, I moved my foot to the accelerator and nothing happened. I realized my vehicle had lost power / "died;" that all dashboard lights were out. I quickly put my vehicle gear in "park" position and restarted. It did restart but immediately a red warning light began flashing saying "brake system failure" and "take vehicle to dealer. " I was terrified as I proceeded in the right lane of traffic since I had vehicles behind me as well as in front of me and I had to cross an intersection with traffic merging from an interstate highway. There was not a safe place to go; all businesses along this stretch had no entry except on their back side. I had to proceed across several major intersections before I could get to a safe place. Meanwhile, warning lights continued and included more than brake system failure. One was showing a warning diagram about changing lanes of traffic which I had to do. Obviously, brakes worked because I was able to stop when needed but I was afraid the brakes would not work which could have been deadly for myself and others. Once I was stopped and in a safe place, I called Honda roadside assistance and my car was towed to the nearest Honda dealership. As of this writing (six days from incident), Honda dealership is still investigating; they have not given me a cause or solution. They are providing me with a loaner car. There is no recall on 2024 Honda hybrid touring although there are multiple posts online with people saying they had same thing happen with this model vehicle.

I am filing a complaint regarding the lack of a remedy for the recall on my vehicle, 2024 Honda Accord hybrid (VIN: [xxx] ). Per the NHTSA website, “due to improper production of the high-pressure fuel pump in the vehicle…a fuel leak can occur when the high-pressure fuel pump is in operation”. The safety risk of this issue is that “if a fuel leak occurs in the presence of an ignition source, the risk of a fire, crash, or injury are increased”. On [xxx] I had a Hyundai sonata sport that was in perfect condition and up to date on its maintenance that spontaneously combusted while being towed from nyc to NJ. I lost thousands of dollars of items as well as the 1st car I purchased on my own. The incident was traumatic, and it is thought that the reason it occurred was an undiagnosed fuel leak in the vehicle. To now find out that the car that I leased right after this incident also has the potential to have the same outcome is very unsettling. I called my Honda dealership and Honda corporate regarding this issue on 10/29/2024 and was told I need to wait until December for a letter in the mail with instructions on how the issue will be remedied. Honda was unwilling to give me a guarantee that my car is safe to drive and was unwilling to inspect my car unless I smelled gas in the car or saw gas under the car after it was running. This situation is extremely distressing and not reasonable. I trusted Honda to provide me with a safe, reliable vehicle. I request that I am given a replacement vehicle of equal value without a recall on it, or an inspection of the vehicle looking to see if my car has a defective fuel pump. On Wednesday, oct. 2, 2024 at approx 7:45 am, I started this car with approx 3,900 miles and every available warning light in the dash cluster illuminated (see photos I’ve attached). I immediately shut off the vehicle and waiting several moments, then restarted. It appeared even more lights illuminated. I attempted to immediately drive the car to nearby Honda dealership but the car’s shifter was locked in park, the steering wheel was also locked dead center. Had it towed to dealer and it has been there one week now. Honda has no answers. They told me Honda north America is involved and even they do not have an answer. Right now I have serious safety concerns, specifically will steering lock at interstate speed? that situation with an entire family onboard would be tragic.

2024 Honda Accord hybrid ex-l. The moon roof exploded as I was driving about 40 miles per hour on a 107-degree afternoon. The moon roof was puffed out from the explosion. Sounded like a shotgun going off. Android auto inquired if there was a collision to report - due to the concussion from the explosion.

2024 Honda Accord ex 11th generation due to poor design and engineering and the use of low-quality plastic pipes to carry gas fuel vapor to the (evap system) and brake fluid to the braking system, these pipes have resulted in safety issues, both involving the possible loss of braking and high chances of fire when they are compromised. All these pipes run parallel to the exhaust system, which gets extremely hot. Due to the plastic brake, gas line, and evap line being exposed to road hazards, it's allowed direct contact with road debris, in which I encountered in my 2024 Honda Accord ex turbo. The Honda engineering team should have known, reasonably expected leaving such thin plastic pipes exposed under the undercarriage of the car would most likely result in costly repairs in which they would, therefore, deny any responsibility for damages occurring. The local Honda dealership can't repair these damaged pipes due to liability issues. The pipes can't be coupled together, so the entire length of these pipes must be replaced at a cost of $7,035. 52. American Honda has calculated the repair time and charges for any necessary work need, these charges are universal throughout all Honda dealerships in the united states. Due to car being under warranty one is unable to seek repairs elsewhere without violating the the 3 year/ 36000 factory warranty for other covered parts. Having to report and claim such damages on my auto insurance policy shouldn't be an option. An insurance company shouldn't have to pay to replace damaged fuel and brake lines due to the poor engineering of an auto manufacturer. The financial burden on owners is significant, and having such issues as this increases all our insurance costs. This could have resulted in me losing brakes and fire starting as both exposed fluid lines run parallel to the exhaust and have no cover/ guard to aid in protection. I've contacted american Honda, they absolutely refuse to accept any responsibility for damages.

2 days after buying my car it started to make a noise on the front left tire. Dealer said that the front stabilizer links were not properly torqued and it was a manufacture mistake and sometime it happens. Thecar did not make this noise when I purchased it . I got my car back and now the car when driving, leans towards the left and the manager said I don't know how to use lane keeping asistant and that the car is fine, but the car didn't do this when I pourchzased it. What can I do?.

When I was driving, suddenly the check engine light came on and within minutes several alerts popped up " power system problem, do not drive" and "emissions system problem. Power may be reduced. See your dealer". It also asked to stop at a safe place. I stopped in the parking lot. Restarting the car does not remove these messages. When I attempted to drive in the parking lot to move to another spot, it felt that the car's brakes are coming on and off, with bad smell. We stopped the car and called Honda dealer, who asked us to tow the car. The car has only 490 miles! prior to that the car was unable to update the software and requested to call the dealer. I did that and the dealer gave a appointment for the weekend.

The 2024 Accord ex front passenger seat sits too low and has no height adjustment. Many adult front passengers are positioned extremely low to the floor with zero height adjustment. I believe the airbag may not effectively protect or even cause injury to these passengers as many can not see over the dash. This abnormal low position also causes leg discomfort and cramps during longer trips. I recommend that Honda provide a seat adjustment alteration or install optional seat-jacking spacers to restore passenger height to a safe and or normal position.

On Thursday, June 20th, I was driving on the highway at around 35-40 mph when the car suddenly turned off. The dashboard screen went black, and I had no control of the steering wheel. Thankfully, I was able to control the brakes and traffic was slowing down but I still was suddenly in the middle lane of a highway without any control of the car. I tried to turn on the car several times and by the 5th or 6th time that I press the power button, it finally turned on and I was able to drive out of the highway. I decided to take the side streets to go home and I was able to make it home safe. I took the car to the dealership the next morning (Friday June 21st). The car stayed at the dealership until this afternoon (Saturday June 22nd). However, they said that even though they found the failure codes in the computer log, they were not able to replicate the problem and therefore, nothing was done to the car. Bought a brand new Honda 2024 at a dealership, since picking up the car we noticed it was black and white and not clear, assumed it was a setting issue so paperwork was completed and we took the car home. It was a safety issue as having it black and white and reversing it was hard to see and several close calls on collition when backing up due to camera malfunction. Issue persisted, notified dealership and appointment was made to replace camera. Issue was confirmed by dealership and camera replaced. About to exit the dealership, put car on reverse and issue persisted.

Since purchasing this vehicle in December 2023, it has exhibited numerous defects and abnormal behavior recall pertains to a defect in the high-pressure fuel pump, which increases the risk of fuel leaks and potential fire. Honda has confirmed that repair parts will not be available for an extended period. The following warning messages appeared within the first few weeks of ownership in January 16/2024: power steering problem: road departure mitigation problem: collision mitigation braking system problem: adaptive cruise control problem:lane keeping assist problem: while these specific issues have been resolved, the experience revealed a pattern of negligence and inadequate support from the dealership, undermining my confidence in their ability to address future problems effectively. The combination of unresolved recall #24v-763, persistent defects, and lack of dealership support has left me with a vehicle that is unsafe and unreliable. Since its purchase, several parts have already been replaced, further demonstrating a pattern of defects and unreliability. I have completely lost confidence in this car’s quality, safety, and functionality. These issues demonstrate that the car has not met reasonable standards of quality and functionality since its purchase. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate the following: Honda’s inability to provide a timely remedy for recall and the safety risks associated with the delay. The repeated refusal of the authorized dealership to adequately address reported defects and provide appropriate service. The backup camera installed on 2024 Honda Accord hybrid exl is of poor quality at night. When backing up at night backup camera image is extremely "foggy" and pixelated making it very difficult to see compared with our other vehicles. Nearly ran over family member backing up as I could not make out their image. During daytime / light, camera image is fine.

This has to do with the wireless phone audio system. The quality is extremely poor as the internal microphone seems to pick up every sound in and outside of the car. There appears to be zero filtration of outside noise. This is a safety problem as it forces the driver to pick up their phone in order to use the speaker.
