This windshield should be recalled this is the second time a rock cracked it. I have only had the car 9 months.
The moonroof is available for immediate inspection. Rudolph Honda in el paso, texas, refused to inspect it despite the severity of the incident. The glass shattered directly above my head while driving, creating an extreme risk of a major crash, permanent eye injury, or even death. This is not an isolated event—there are numerous reported cases of this vehicle’s moonroof spontaneously breaking. A third?party autoglass specialist contracted by the dealership inspected the damage and confirmed an internal failure. The vehicle provided no warnings, alerts, or signs of any kind before the failure occurred.
When it is raining I cannot see using the backup camera. Rain drops on the camera lens make it so that I can only see light, I. E. The drops of rain obscure everything. Basically it is like not having a backup camera at all.
Scheduled a recall appointment to get 25v-785 fixed. Arrived at the dealer national city ball Honda at 0655. Walked inside service department for assistance. José rodríguez was already assisting another customer so waited until he finished. They walked outside, josé saw his buddy outside and greeted him with a handshake and a quick hug. They walked inside at which point I informed josé that I was the next customer which he said that I can wait and get help from another service member, josé friend told him to assist me first at which point josé still said that I can wait for the next service member. I told josé that I'm the next customer and want to be helped According to first come first serviced, I had an appointment for 0700. When josé finally decided to help he was already annoyed, but still going thru the motion to log my information. I brought up that it was rude of him to skip me for his friend. At which point, he acted like of I was yelling at him and told me that if I continued he will cancel me. I told him that it still was rude of him to try and skip me and if he wanted to cancel my appointment to cancel me. I drove 2 hours to go for my recall service and spend fuel and breakfast money to be canceled. I called ball Honda national city to talk to a manager and wasn't connected to one. I drive home without getting service. I'm expecting better service. Please help with this issue. Or can I file a lemon law regarding the 25v-785 recall not being fixed?.
Sunroof explosion incident: I was driving east bound on the I-880 highway (in the direction to sacramento CA) between the columbus pkwy and hiddenbrook exits in the city of vallejo. When all of the sudden I heard a loud boom/explosion noise and heard glass drop onto the closed sunroof visor and flying hitting the rear of my car. I pulled off at the hiddenbrook exit. I saw a highway patrol officer at a stop sign and flagged him down. I explained to him what I experienced. He asked me if I saw anyone throw anything. I told him no. We both looked in through the opening where the sunroof glass was shattered and saw no random object. He then advised me to contact my insurance company to see what remedy they may offer. I called the insurance immediately after the officer and I departed ways.
The steering sticks and over turns making the car go all over the place. When parked, the steering makes alot of noises when you turn the steering wheel.
This is the second time I am reporting this same issue with my Accord. I see there is now a recall but I need this to be on file as I can't continue owning this vehicle if this continues. This is a scary situation when you are behind the whell. On 10/30/25, I was 60 miles into a trip and the car lost all power on a major highway. While almost being rear ended by cars in the left lane, I was able to get to the shoulder. Dashboard lit up with numerous error messages. (see photos). I was able to shut the car down and restart. Upon restart, the brake system light stayed on the remaining trip 50 miles home. Brake system - brake system problem. Brake performance may be reduced. See your dealer. I took it in for service and upon urging them that this was a bigger issue, they told me it was because I don't drive the car enough and it was a battery issue. Very frustrating.
The steering clicks in all roads in san francisco, the Hondalink is the worst app never works as expected and the lane keeping assistance sucks, it can’t helps more than a second actually I used to have a Toyota and really works great. The apple carplay sucks in unstable.
This car has lane keeping assistance but this is very bad, if you let the assistant assist you at 65mph for more than 5 seconds you probably die, because this assistance move you like ping pong from left side to right side. Also this has a very bad quality of steering rack after 30 days starts making noise and they fixed but the noise starts again. I was forced to trade in this car, ocean Honda of burlingame hide reports they also hide from carfax they make services or replace parts but they only stated like tire rotation or driveability check tire pressure check be aware of this.
On July 14, 2025, our 2025 Honda Accord was serviced at hall Honda virginia beach for a tpms warning. The repair was marked complete under warranty by 12:24 pm. We picked up the car [xxx] at 7:30 am. By 4:32 pm, the passenger-side tire catastrophically failed no tpms alert, no impact, no pothole, just sudden sidewall rupture. This was not a minor issue; it was a failure of a federally mandated safety system. Had it occurred at highway speed, it could have resulted in wrongful death due to service negligence. We towed the car back that night (visit #2). The next morning, advisor tito blamed “you must have hit something. ” he then offered to replace the rim and tire under warranty and gave us two options a fast repair or a “proper” 3-day one. Framing a potentially fatal failure as a customer convenience choice is reckless. We picked the car up again July 21. On [xxx] at 3 pm, the tpms failed again this time throwing a calibration warning. This was visit #3. I returned to ask why it failed again. Tito grew defensive and again blamed us for the initial tire failure. I wasn’t there for that I was reporting a second failure of the same safety system. There was no concern shown that the car had been returned unsafe multiple times. No apology, no accountability just blame deflection and hostility. As of July 25, the tpms still does not work. A fourth visit is now required. This is a repeat failure of a safety-critical system required under fmvss 138, mishandled with negligence and denial. It is only luck—not competence—that prevented serious harm or death. For full documentation and timeline, see my public review: [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
I was sitting at a red light in my 2025 Honda Accord sport that I bought brand new about six months ago when I heard a loud explosion and saw a piece of glass fall on my windshield. I could then hear glass cracking over my head. I got out my vehicle and observed the moon roof glass to be completed shattered. I drove straight to the Honda service center where I purchased the vehicle and was told that is was most likely due to heat. The mechanic advised he has the same vehicle and the same thing happened to him. Then I was told that I would have to go through my insurance because that isn't covered by their warranty. Currently waiting to hear back from the manager. Clearly this was caused by a defect and should be corrected by Honda.
While driving a 2025 Honda Accord hybrid with approximately 2300 miles on it at a speed of 40 mph, with nothing above the vehicle and no vehicles within a quarter mile of the vehicle, the sunroof glass exploded over the roof of the car and onto the highway. The sound was like a missile hitting the car. Fortunately the sunroof inner sliding panel was closed and no glass entered the passenger compartment. About a third of the glass went onto the highway and the remaining part shattered on top of the car. Pictures were taken of the car. I contacted Honda and a case was opened. I was instructed to take the vehicle to a Honda dealer for inspection. The dealer agreed that the explosion was not due to any act of mine or outside cause and the glass was replaced under my warranty. My concern is that the glass totally shattered and though the three passengers in the car were not injured, had the sliding panel under the glass been open, there would have been serious consequences. I believe that Honda should put some sort of impact glass on the sunroof that will not shatter.
My sunroof exploded. I was driving north on I-35 in the kansas city metro. I heard an actual explosion, then the sound of shrapnel washing over my vehicle. I wasn't sure it was me at first. Nothing hit the car. I noticed a new noise like passing (raggedy) wind and started to slide the sunroof "cover" back and you could see the glass had exploded outward. Had I not had the sunroof shade closed I, and the inside of the car, would've been covered in glass.
Friday may 30th, I was driving to work on the interstate. No cars/rocks or anything was in my path and all of a sudden the sunroof glass shattered causing glass to go everywhere. It alerted me so badly luckily I didn’t react in a way that could’ve been deadly. I had my shade cover back exposing the glass so when it just so suddenly shattered, glass entered inside the car. Honda is saying this is normal and it’s costing $845 to replace and I haven’t had this car a year and it’s shattered already?.
Apple carplay frequently fails to function properly. While driving, the infotainment screen suddenly goes completely black and becomes unresponsive. The system does not recover until I stop the vehicle, turn off the engine, and restart the car. In addition, when starting the vehicle, carplay often does not initialize. I sometimes have to turn the vehicle off and restart it 10–20 times before carplay activates. This issue happens very frequently. If I use the vehicle 3–4 times in a single day, the problem occurs at least 2 times. This results in loss of navigation, phone connectivity, and display controls while driving. This creates a safety concern because I lose access to navigation and hands-free features while operating the vehicle.
Was driving about 30 mph and lost all power. Warning lights came on the dash; tpms, brake system failure, contact dealer, several others that I don't remember. Pulled onto a side road so as not to get hit from behind. Was able to roll to a stop and put on hazards. Called roadside assistance for a tow to dealer where bought. They have had for a week with no resolution.
After the recall software update for the hybrid system, my 2025 Honda Accord hybrid experienced a significant loss in fuel economy (from approx. 44 mpg down to 33 mpg) and drastically reduced electric-only driving. The engine now runs much more frequently, even at low speeds and stoplights. This materially changed the vehicle’s advertised hybrid performance and efficiency. Many owners are reporting the same issue. This appears to be a software-induced degradation of vehicle performance following a mandatory recall update.
