Service Brakes problem #1

2025 Honda Accord hybrid sportl odometer 9,000 brake system problem. Brake performance may be reduced. Vehicle has not been checked yet by dealer or any type of representative. Message on dashboard and warning lights appear Wednesday February 11th 2026.

Service Brakes problem #2

I was turning into my parking space after work. The car suddenly showed every single alarm possible it started driving incredibly poorly at low speeds. I turned the car off. I let it rest for a minute. I turned it off and it was horribly slow, but it was able to pull it into the parking space. I did not call a tow truck at this time because the last time they towed into an impound lot and it took days to get it to the dealership. They tried to hold my car for ransom for thousands of dollars. This is a brand new vehicle has broken down multiple times. Honda is trying to externalize flame. The dealership takes no ownership of their faulty merchandise.

Service Brakes problem #3

The contact owns a 2025 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph, the vehicle intermittently stalled. While idling or utilizing cruise control, the vehicle suddenly accelerated to 70 after releasing the brake pedal. While entering the garage with her foot hovering over the brake pedal, the vehicle suddenly accelerated forward and crashed through the wall into the tv room. The brake light was flashing. There were no reported injuries, airbag deployments, fire or police report filed. The gas pipe was bent into the wall, but she was able to turn off the gas line. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who reset the computer and replaced the battery. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 6,090.

Service Brakes problem #4

The car was in cruise control going 73mph on the freeway. I was passing a semi on the left hand side. When I was parallel to the semi, the car brakes hard and a big "brake" light came on the cluster. There were no cars in front of me and luckily no one behind me. If there was a car behind me there would have been a collision. It was a clear day and again the road was clear. It took me from 70 to about 40 mph until I hit the accelerator to get back to speed. The cmbs is faulty and I will take it in to a dealer ASAP.

Service Brakes problem #5

The collision mitigation braking system (cmbs), which is part of Honda's advanced safety features, slammed on the brakes driving down the road at about 40 mph. When the vehicle slammed the brakes, me and the passenger were jerked forward with seatbelts on. Had a vehicle been behind us traveling it would have slammed into the back of my vehicle causing an accident. I will be contacting the dealer to address this problem as it just happened yesterday 8/3/2025. Although I did read that this complaint is currently under investigation. When the vehile slammed on the breaks, the brake warning light came on right after the brake was slammed and immediately went off.

Service Brakes problem #6

The brake system, it is in the repair shop. I could not stop the car, had I been on the highway I hate to think what could have happened to me or others. No, it has not been reproduced. It is in the repair shop. No, it is in the repair shop. No, there was no warning lights or messages or problems prior to this. I was pulling into a parking space at work in the parking garage and as I pushed down on the brake pedal the brake did not stop the car it made it accelerate at a very high rate, and I ran into the concrete wall.

Service Brakes problem #7

While driving about 30 mph, a brake system malfunction error appeared on the dash. The car lost all acceleration. Cabin heat shut off. Many other errors appeared related to electrical systems. Stopped and restarted the car, only the brake system error remained.

Service Brakes problem #8

I was driving when a car pulled into a driveway. My car was not near this car and the brakes stopped very hard. At other times when the brakes should have stopped they did not. I had a major accident in feburary and my safety features were on however the car did not stop when the other car turned into front of me causing total damage, broken thumb and torn ligament in my right hand.

Service Brakes problem #9

Was driving my new car home and all of a sudden the vehicle comes to a stop, I almost get hit by other cars several times and my daughter panicking in the back seat, the entire dashboard lights up and car stays brake system error please contact dealer. After turning car on and off a few times, I can begin driving again but the brake error system message remains. Taking to dealership in the morning.

Service Brakes problem #10

When car has been stopped, in traffic or parking lot, the parking/emergency brake has engaged automatically (not engaged manually or intentionally by driver) and will not disengage automatically when accelerator is pressed to go forward. It is difficult to disengage the brake when this occurs. This has happened on 3 occasions. The safety risk for crash includes being hit from behind if brake engages unintentionally in traffic or on highway, or potentially sudden unintentional stopping while driving at moderate or high speeds. The issue was reported to dealer after twice occurring and full dtc check performed. Dealer says all diagnostics normal and could not identify any problems with parking/emergency brake or collision mitigation braking system. The issue has occurred one time since the dealer inspection. The red light on the emergency break switch (console) comes on when this occurs, but no prior warning lamps or messages.

Service Brakes problem #11

While driving approximately 30mph the car lost all accelleration/power and slowed to a stop while still in drive. First, this put me in an extremely dangerous position in the middle of an extremely busy highway with cars almost hitting me several times. Dashboard displayed numerous flashing error messages. Some that I recall were: low tire pressure tpms, abs, brake system, power, and hold. I put the car in park and drive again and it still wouldn't move. After turning it off and back on, I continued to have "brake system brake system problems. Brake performance may be reduced. See your dealer. I. " displayed. The car did resume driving functions and allowed me to get out of middle of road. Once stopping again and recycling, the warning signals went out and I drove home.
