Gasoline Engine problems of the 1999 Honda Civic

Two problems related to gasoline engine have been reported for the 1999 Honda Civic. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 10/14/2000

The vehicle vibrates when idling.

2 Gasoline Engine problem

Engine knock while engine is cold, Honda confirms this is normal operation of a gas engine( per Honda news letter. Car has been maintained to schedule maintance, oil changes etc. I feel this is a defect in the motor , which if I had knew before hand I would have never purchased this vechile due to this under rated problem .
