After returing to my parked car, I put the key in and turned the key, no dashboard lights went on and the engine did not crank. I turned it back to the off position, turned off the vent blower and tried again. Then it started just fine. Another time I waited 30 seconds and it started after failing the first time. Honda says (9/30/2002) my car isn't included in the ignition switch recall. It wouldn't fail for the dealer. Right now, I'm guessing that I don't need to do anything with with the blower switch, just retrying the ignition seems like it will work. We'll see when it occurs again. Mr.
