general problems of the 2003 Honda Civic

The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 131,000.

Vehicle steering wheel violently jerks back and forth when shifting automatically resulting in no control of vehicle. Vehicle does not lock doors. While driving at 65 mph the steering locked. The steering wheel popped and began to move freely. The dealer was unable to duplicate the problem.
