The contact owns a 2005 Honda Civic hybrid. The vehicle has a special transmission, which does not shift into gear. When the contact depressed the accelerator pedal, the rpm's increased to 5,200. While driving 25 mph, the vehicle experienced a lack of horse power and decelerated. The dealer stated that the shifter was designed to work in this manner and there was no remedy. The failure mileage was 46,000.

2 Transmission Not Go Into Gear problem

The contact owns a 2005 Honda Civic. In an attempt to drive the vehicle, the contact placed his key into the ignition and started the vehicle, but it would not shift into gear. The vehicle was towed to a dealer and they stated that the clutch and sink rolls failed. The clutch and the sink rolls were replaced. Approximately one month later, while driving 60 mph in fifth gear, the vehicle slipped into neutral four times. The dealer then replaced the manual transmission. The current mileage was 85,560 and failure mileage was 83,813.
