The driver side visor split and swung down while driving. This could have caused an accident. It still obstructs my view while driving because it won't stay up. This is apparently a common problem that can reoccur. Dealers want 100 to fix it.

The contact owns a 2009 Honda Civic. The contact stated that the driver side rear window detached from the door. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and the current mileages were 14,000.

2009 Honda Civic driver side sun visor broke while driving at 70 mph in interstate. The sun visor literally 'exploded". Pieces of plastic from the back seam fell and the visor drop right in my view almost causing me to have an accident. Had to pull over to keep it together as out of nowhere this thing crack and fell on my face. Really glad it wasn't my wife driving.
