Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Honda Civic. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph, there was an abnormal noise and also that the vehicle had extreme hesitation with no warning. The vehicle was able to restart and was driven to the contacts residence and parked due to the failure. The contact later received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15v574000 (power train) and was waiting for the dealer to supply the part for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Parts distribution disconnect. Dyd.

2 Loud Engine Noise problem

Failure Date: 11/09/2015

The contact owns a 2014 Honda Civic. The contact stated that the vehicle jerked forward during a cold start. The failure occurred without warning. In addition, the vehicle made an abnormal noise. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. Prior to the failure, the vehicle was taken to the dealer where the engine was replaced due to an abnormal noise. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.
