1 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 06/13/2022

Abs brake system failure and unable to steer vehichle causing accident. Front passenger side airbag did not deploy for front passenger. If the passenger did not move his head when he did and driver they both likely would have been killed in the accident. When this vehichle was purchased at the carmax dealership less than 60 days ago, it was assured of no issues, however it did have low tire pressure warnings and they put air in tires at the time of test drive, I have read some people have had low tire warning / abs issues prior to abs failures and wish this to be investigated. This is suspicious.

2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 06/29/2019

My airbags did not deploy when I was rear ended with my seatbelt on when I was stopped at a stoplight on a busy suburban street. My airbag light goes off and on at times. I was told fixing the airbag problem was not covered. Why is that when takata b bags were reportedly recalled for the 2015 Honda Civic.

3 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 04/08/2019

"takata recall" my "check air bag light" is on constantly since December 2018. I took it to the Honda dealership, and they told me it is my driver side air bag that is affected. They told me I would have to pay out of pocket to fix my air bag, because it is not under recall. I have never, ever, ever heard of a car that is 3 1/2 years old with 43,000 miles that needs a new air bag? this car has never, ever, ever been in a car accident. This is not normal! how does an air bag go bad that has never deployed??? I do not have the money to buy a new driver side air bag. If I did have the money, I don't think I should have to pay for a brand new air bag on a new car. The car has only been in use for 3 1/2 years. I have to drive my niece who is a senior to visit colleges in florida for spring break all the way from connecticut. I have to drive for 4 full days and drive around florida and back risking my life, her life and her best friend's life. That is not fair. If I die, or the kids die, because their air bags do not work, that is not fair and cruel. I paid for a brand new car that advertised working air bags, not a "lemon". The car manufacturer and takata, is being shielded from having to pay to fix all of these defective air bags, while human beings will die to save them money. I am afraid for my life! I do not want to die, or kill my passengers by knowingly let them ride in my vehicle that has defective, non-functioning, deadly air bags. My car supposedly is fine. How could that be? my air bags do not work! are you telling me that this is all just a big coincidence? how could a new car have broken takata air bags? that does not seem unusual to you? this is cold-blooded to know that because of money my life is expendable. Why isn't my VIN number included in the recall? I do not have money to buy a new air bag(s) and pay for many hours of labor at Honda. Please help me!!.

4 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 09/27/2018

My daughter was involved in a frontal collision on 9/27/2018 in her 2015 Honda Civic. The airbags did not deploy and she hit her head, chest, and pelvis on the steering wheel. We have had this car since it was new. She was driving about 35mph when a car started to turn in front of her, and they collided nearly head-on.

5 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 09/29/2017

The contact owned a 2015 Honda Civic. While driving approximately 40 mph and depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle skid. As a result, the contact crashed into another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained head and chest injuries that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a towing lot. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not contacted and made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. The VIN was not available.

6 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 09/29/2017

I was in a car accident on Friday September 29th, the whole front end of the car was damaged and the airbags did not deploy. My vehicle is not part of the takata recall.

7 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 05/29/2017

I was involved in an accident on 5/29/17. My car was hit on the left rear near the fender well. The car spun out of control across the interstate and hit the guard rail facing the traffic. The air bags did not deploy.

8 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 08/30/2016

The vehicle (v-2) was involved in a collision at the 1-5 nb cypress off ramp in redding California in evening peak hour traffic (at 1810). V-2 was struck by v-1, which in turn pushed v-2 into v-3. Both v-1 and v-2 were stationary at the time of collision. V-1, a isuza trooper sustained minor front end damage. V-2 received minor front end damage, and major rear end damage. V-3, a kia soul received minor rear end damage. The issue is that the v-2 airbag did not deploy or the seat-belt restrain the driver in the vehicle. The driver struck the steering wheel receiving a major brain concussion and broken nose upon being pushed by v-1 into v-3. Several on the scene questioned the lack of airbag deployment or the seat-belt not providing the restraint necessary to prevent the injury. My concern is this is a failure of the safety systems necessary to restrain the driver. Reporting party is the father of the driver of v-2, a teen driver.
