We were stopped in traffic, seat belts were fastened, turn signal on, and we were rear-ended by a work van moving at very high speed. Our car was totaled. The front seats were broken due to the impact. No airbags deployed. Not front, not side.

The contact mentioned that the failure was getting progressively worst. The vehicle was taken to multiple dealers, who were not able to replicate and diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was to send a regional representative from their company to inspect the failure but the contact received no follow up and was uncertain if the manufacturer would be able to provide a permanent remedy for the failure. Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Honda Civic. The contact stated that instrumental pane material was defective, while driving the sun reflected strongly on the instrumental panel directly at the computer digital area blinding the contact. Several times the contact had to pull over on the road shoulder to regain sight. The contact was concerned that he may cause a crash. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however; the dealer advised they were unable to correct the defect. The manufacturer was notified of the defect. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000. Li.
