Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2016 Honda Civic

I was driving on the freeway and had to come to a complete stop immediately from 60 mph, but could not stop in time. A collision occurred with the stopped car in front of me and the car was extremely damaged, to the point of not starting, but the air bags did not deploy.

We were at a complete stop at the outer city street signaling to make a left and a car hit us from behind without breaking at 60 -70 speed and the airbags did not deploy. The back of the vehicle is smashed in and not one airbag went off. There were two adults (driver & passenger) and two children (backseat).

Tl- the contact owned a 2016 Honda Civic. The contact stated while being operated approximately 10 mph the vehicle was involved in a front impact collision. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to an auto body shop where it was deemed destroyed. The dealer and the manufacturer was notified of the failure. There was one injury however no medical attention was required. The contact suffered from moderate pain. The failure mileage was 20,000. Kh.

"takata recall" I bought vehicle in late Sep 2016. Dealer said recall was done. Had minor accident Nov. 2017, air bags did not deploy?? officer at scene thought that to be unusual.

The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed. The manufacturer was made aware of the crash. The failure mileage was 3,000.
