My car makes like a clicking noise intermittently while accelerating. When it's making this noise it has stopped accelerating. I have to release my foot off the gas for a couple seconds then when I accelerate, it is back to normal. This does not happen every day anymore but at one point it was happening pretty much at least once a day. I took it to the Honda dealership in October 2020 nd November 2020 and asked them to find out what's wrong. I told them it may be the fuel pump/system or something with the accelerator, and preceded to tell them about the noise. Both times they could not recreate the noise and therefore could not fix or diagnose the issue. It happens when accelerating from a stop, on a hill, accelerating quickly, and sometimes just good old fashioned regular accelerating. It has made me lose trust in the car like I could be turning or passing someone and it happens when everyone ond is critical. Needless to say I have been accelerating very slowly to try to limit the amount of times it happens but it still happens. City streets and highways.
