Car Stall problems of the 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid

1 Car Stall problem

When driving at 50mph on a national highway 95s heading to philadelphia around 11am,the speed of the car suddenly reduce to 20mph and then stalled and stopped moving. I had to pull aside to check the engine. After some thirty minutes of rest,I had to return home with an idea of getting the car checked by the dealer. The dealer reorted of having no problem in the engine and I had to take the car back and running as carefully as possible without using for a long trip. I had some dents due to other driver with rash driving and hitting the car. I need to get the dents fixed as soon as the present winter season turns feasible for easy running.

2 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 07/01/2013

Tl- the contact owns a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. The contact stated while accelerating from a stop the vehicle lunged forward violently and stalled. The failure recurred several more times. After the vehicle began to accelerate it operated as designed. The vehicle was brought to a stop and again the failure recurred but the vehicle would not accelerate forward but went in reverse as designed. After some time the vehicle began to accelerate forward and was taken to a dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the a hard reset of the computer would be required. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure and current mileage was 117,000. Dt.

3 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 10/11/2012

Tl-the contact owns a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled without warning when it was driven up hill. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was test driven, but the failure did not duplicate. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 140,000. Li.

4 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 06/16/2010

The contact owns a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. The contact was driving 5 mph when the vehicle began to jerk abnormally and stalled without warning. The accelerator pedal went straight to the floorboard when depressed and the vehicle would not accelerate. The contact then released the accelerator pedal and the vehicle proceeded without stalling. The dealer was informed of the failure and they diagnosed and replaced a valve. The failure persisted after the repairs. The vehicle was not further repaired. The failure mileage was 52,000 and the current mileage was 53,000.
