The contact owns a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. The contact stated that the tires were wearing prematurely and he heard a loud noise. The vehicle was difficult to control at any speed. The dealer discovered that the upper control arm was defective, which caused the vehicle to become difficult to maneuver and the tires to wear. The dealer will replace the control arm for free, but the contact is responsible for the tire cost. The manufacturer is aware of the defect, but there is no recall. The current mileage was 34,800 and failure mileage was 200.
