Structure Problems of Honda Civic Hybrid

2005 Honda Civic Hybrid. Consumer writes in regards to several problems with vehicle and seeks reimbursement for repairs and an investigation of dealership. The consumer stated three days after purchasing the vehicle, it starting shaking while driving on the highway at 55 mph. The consumer returned to the dealer, where they rotated the tires and insulated the pillar. Four months later, the consumer returned to the dealer, because the vehicle was still shaking. The dealer performed an oil change. The following month, as the consumers daughter was driving the vehicle, all of the oil leaked out of the vehicle and it had to be towed the dealer, where they oil pan was replaced, due to it being stripped out. The ac compressor clutch was replaced.

Driver side sun visor split open. One fine afternoon, I tried to move the sun visor in my car, the plastic split open with crack sound. I thought it just the problem with my car, but when I started looking for a replacement, I found lot of people have the same problem. The contact owns a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. While driving 60 mph, the contact heard road noise. The dealer stated that the rear tires were unevenly worn, but was unable to determine the cause of failure. The dealer advised the contact to not rotate the tires. The current mileage is 22,652 and failure mileage was 22,300. The consumer stated he has reason to believe the problem is the battery pack(between rear seat and trunk) is causing the rear tires to wear unevenly. Updated 07/10/07.

When going left to right near full lock on the steering our hch will pop in the front end. The car has been to the dealer 6 or more times in attempts to remedy the issue. When the car is in neutral it bumps the transmission engagement which causes the car to surge when rolling.
