One problem related to front seat belt anchorage has been reported for the 1997 Honda CR-V. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The seat belt is designed in such a way as it can wrap around the seat back tilt adjustment, causing the drivers seat back to fly back. This happened to me while leaving a toll booth on the indiana tollway. It appears to be happening more often as the vehicle ages and the restraint system became worn.
