One problem related to steering rack and pinion has been reported for the 1997 Honda CR-V. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle lost control of steering at about 45 mph. Took vehicle to dealer for check up, and results showed that the bolts on the rack and pinion broke off.
