One problem related to tire tread/belt has been reported for the 1998 Honda CR-V. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driving a 1998 Honda crv, with bridgestone dueler h/t tire (rear left). Traveling on the freeway - CA 101 - at 65 mph. Tire was properly inflated, but it was a hot day. Tread separated, hitting and damaging the underside of the car. Will replace with tires from different company, and try to claim damages from bridgestone/firestone.
