Car Stall problems of the 1999 Honda CR-V

Three problems related to car stall have been reported for the 1999 Honda CR-V. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 03/06/2016

Vehicle stalls/cuts off without warning while driving in heavy city traffic. Last occurence was 3/6/2016 and one before that was 12/19/2015. Supposedly there was a recall and repair done 6/7/2005. This is unsafe and dangerous.

2 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 11/20/2003

Honda crv burned vavle. Many crv owners of 1998 and 1999 have reported the same problem. Honda mechanic had stated that this is a manufacturer defect. The valve was installed too tight causing friction and eventually burned the valve. Honda corp. Is not claming any responsiblity for this problem anymore. The cut off date that Honda would have covered the repair cost was approximately 2 months ago from today 12/9/03 according to the mechanic at the glendale (CA) Honda dealership.

3 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 07/28/1999

Vehicle stalling and experiencing vibration due to engine cylinder failure.
