Two problems related to front driver side air bag inflator have been reported for the 1999 Honda CR-V. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
March 2020 recall from Honda. Inflator may absorb moisture of driver airbag to malfunction in crash increasing risk of injury, metal fragments striking driver or passengers, increasing risk of injury or death. Local dealer says parts still not available. Cannot reach Honda corp.
The 2 front airbag inflators did not inflate in a front end collision, on campbell rd on 12/4/15,they only popped out about a coupe of inches and front seat belt will not adjust now. I saw there is a recall/fix problem for Honda's Cr-v from 2002 to 2011 but nothing listed earlier than 2002.
