Transmission Gear Slipping problems of the 1999 Honda CR-V

Failure Date: 10/17/2000

While driving at 55 mph transmission would not change to a higher gear. Consumer took vehicle to dealer, and dealer indicated that transmission was slipping and needed to be replaced. Please provide any further information.
