Steering problem #1

I have a 2001 Honda crv se 4wd with 63k miles. Three years ago at 30k miles the steering wheel started to make some kind of rubbing noise when pulling out of parking. It sounded like metal touching metal. I brought it back to poway Honda dealer but they refused to take it seriously because they were not able to reproduce the problem. I've been having this noise ever since.

Steering Wheel problem #2

In owner's manual it states to adjust the steering wheel so that the wheel points toward the chest and not toward the face due to protection from the airbag, however consumer is 5 feet 6 inches tall and would have to be 3-4 inches taller in order to have the steering wheel point toward his chest, a rep from american Honda suggested to have the dealer to modify the seat, but this would void the warranty.
