The contact owns a 2001 Honda Cr-v. While driving approximately 65 mph, an abnormal noise was heard. Upon inspection, it was noticed that the sun roof visor had detached from the vehicle. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 175,000.

2 Sun Roof problem

Failure Date: 03/13/2011

The contact owns a 2001 Honda Cr-v equipped with a webasto sunroof, model series 700, serial number 506817. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, the sunroof suddenly blew off. The glass delaminated during the failure. The contact called the manufacturer of the sunroof but was informed that the part was not included in the voluntary recall for the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The current and failure mileage was approximately 157,000.

3 Sun Roof problem

Failure Date: 03/13/2011

The contact owns a 2001 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that while driving 70 mph the sunroof flew off of the vehicle while it was closed. The dealer stated that there were no recalls or warranties related to the failure. The contact called the manufacturer only to obtain recall information and did not file a complaint. The failure mileage was 156,000.
