The contact owns a 2001 Honda Cr-v. While driving 55 mph, the vehicle began to shutter and shake. Upon stopping the vehicle, the contact observed the tire tread peeling from the tire. The tire did not flatten. The tire was a bridgestone dueler 684, size 205/70r15. The purchase date was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 50,000.

2 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2003

The rear right tire tread separated while driving at 60 mph. This resulted in the driver temporarily losing control of vehicle. The tire was replaced.
