The driver's side seatbelt does not retract well. Other seatbelts may be affected as well. The driver's side visor has not been damaged but does not stay up. It is a safety hazard.
Driver's side sun visor will not stay in position. Drops down constantly. Will not stay up nor pushed forward against windshield. The owners forum has tons of crv owners with this problem. I contacted Honda and was told they do not guarantee that part! this is a major safety hazard. Honda knows it has issue with it's visors however will not issue a recall for the problem.
Tl- the contact owns a 2004 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that the front passenger's side window could not be closed. In addition, a burning odor was emitted from the window area. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis and the contact inquired of a recall under NHTSA campaign number: 12v486000 (electrical system , visibility). The contact was advised that the VIN was not included in the recall campaign and that the window switch would need to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 127,000. Kmj.
Driver side sunvisor can not stay in its place. When it droops down, visibility is affected.
