1 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 02/19/2015

I purchased a new 2015 Honda crv exl. Picked it up on evening of 2/18/15. I drove it back and forth to work, approx. 30 miles round trip the next two days. I noticed vibration and felt something wasn't right. The car sat in my driveway the weekend due to bad weather. I drove to work Monday and Tuesday and the vibration was terrible. I drive in very slow moving traffic. While accelerating, it feels like a bumpy ride on uneven roadway. This makes me feel very unsafe! especially while going around curves. While stopped at red lights, the steering wheel and seats vibrate. Exactly one week from picking up my vehicle, I'm back at the dealership with the service manager driving my car and experiencing my concerns. I brought the car back in again for the service manager to capture the vibration on video to be sent to Honda. I contacted Honda of America and now have a case manager. Please do something to help all of us who have been ripped off by Honda and they are still selling these defective cars!.

2 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 10/04/2014

My husband was on the way home after a visit to georgia,he was just west of tallahassee when thee car started acting like it was out of gas, jumping and bucking. He managed to get it off the interstate and that was it no pulling no nothing. We called our insurance because, back in April we had a accident and the car had to go back into the shop several for different reasons, each time my husband said "the transmission is not acting right, there is slack action even on the day he left which believe was 29th of September he stopped at the Honda dealership here in pensacola and was told "you have a little water but should be ok. Well by the end of the week, in the middle of the night the car is on the side of the road and undrivable. Towed back to tallahassee and found a motel (only room available 200$ a night. I got my car back yesterday to the tune $4607. 00 wow!!!!! is there any information on transmission problems? we think it was caused by the accident or at the least the accident helped the demise of the transmission. In your opinion is this possible? still very hard to steer. For several months there was severe pulling to the left, they finally found the front strut was pulled out of the arms that holds it in place, just lying on top, I believe the force of the other car hitting ours caused this problem, and the insurance paid this but they are saying the accident did not cause the transmission problems.

3 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2010

My 2005 fron wheel drive crv has a rumbling in the front and also seems to slip when acellerating. Many other seem to have this complaint with Honda crvs and mine is a 2005 non awd. This is terrible as everytime we go out now we dont know if the car will get is to our destination and my husband and myself are both disabiled. We purcheased this crv as to the good reputation Honda had and now we are stuck with this problem that Honda refuses to help with.

4 Power Train problem

Failure Date: 01/03/2005

I bought the car in August 2004. After a few months drove it to the mountain, put the snow chain and the car couldn't go more than 10mph, instead it make a loud roaring noise. Took to dealer but couldn't duplicate the problem. Call direct to Honda they said they couldn't do anything since the dealer didn't find any problems. Since than we drive another car whenever we when to the snow. Last weekend we went to palm springs aerial tram and the car make a loud noise that sound like it came from somewhere in the drivetrain parts. I thing this must have related to the same problem wen I went to the snow. I call a friend that has an independent car repair shop and told him what had happened. He advised me to call Honda because the car is defective since it was new. I called Honda and they said to bring to a different dealer than the one that I went on the first incident. I went to a dealer and again couldn't duplicate the problem, paid $220 for diagnostic and they said the problem has nothing to do with any parts of the drivetrain, I checked on the webside and found alot of people have similar problem posted on the crv forum /blog. I wonder if NHTSA can help us to complain to Honda for related problem and have them repair the car free of charge since it was defective.
