2005 Honda Cr-v. Consumer states grinding noise and tire wall deterioration the consumer stated when the tire wall deteriorated it pulled apart wedging between the axle rod and tire and was beginning to shred the tire. A month later, she noticed the plastic tire wall on the driver's side had also started to disintegrate and was breaking down in a similar fashion. In early July, while driving, the plastic front piece on the grill on the front of the vehicle came loose and starting flapping up and down.
