Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2006 Honda CR-V

The used 2006 Honda Cr-v awd that I purchased from the Honda dealer in oct 2016 was involved in an accident on the 405 freeway in kirkland, wa in Mar 2017. The Honda Cr-v rear ended another vehicle, driving approximately 60 miles per hour. Both driver and passenger air bags did not deploy.

Major side collision, impact at front passenger door, side airbag did not deploy with front passenger in seat. Vehicle was in motion, going straight, on city street at approx 35 mph.

I was in traffic and rear ended the auto in front of me. Although my car was deemed a total loss, and the front end was damaged into the motor compartment, my airbags did not deploy.

Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Honda Cr-v. The contact stated that an unknown recall was performed on the vehicle which did not remedy the failure. The contact stated that while traveling approximately 30 mph, the contact stated another vehicle made an abrupt turn and the contact crashed into another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The driver sustained whip lash, head and back pains as well as further medical treatment due to the force of the impact. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop and an authorized dealer for diagnosis of the air bag. The contact indicated that the manufacturers investigator determined that the air bags did not have a failure. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. Tl- the contact owns a 2006 Honda crv. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 mph and had crashed in the rear end of another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. There was a police report filed. The contact had sustained bruising on the chest,however, medical attention was not required. The vehicle had not yet been diagnosed of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the air bags would have not deployed even if they were working properly due to various reasons. The VIN was also included in NHTSA campaign number:14v351(air bags). The approximate failure mileage was 40,000. Gb.

The contact owns a 2006 Honda Cr-v. While driving approximately 30 mph on normal road conditions, the vehicle came to a stop in slow traffic. The vehicle was rear ended by another vehicle, which caused the contact to rear end the preceding vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained severe injuries and was transported to the hospital. The police and ambulance were called to the scene. A police report was filed. The vehicle was completely destroyed and was towed to a collision repair shop. The contact was in the process of notifying the manufacturer. The VIN was unknown. The failure and current mileages were 20,000.

The contact owns a 2006 Honda Cr-v. While driving 55 mph, the contact crashed into the rear of another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy and the seat beat did not lock. As a result, her knees struck the dashboard and were bruised. The dealer refused to inspect the vehicle to determine the cause of failure. A police report was filed. The current and failure mileages were 23,500.

The seat belt locked in an open position upon impact, causing my father injury to his chest as he was impacted upon the steering wheel. I also don't understand why the driver airbag did not deploy; the forceful collision caused the frame irreparable damage. This vehicle was deemed a total loss. I asked that a representative from american Honda corporation take a look at the vehicle while it was located at three (3) different locations. They ignored my request. The complaint number that I was assigned by american Honda corporation is #n012007-07-2300426. As far as I am concerned, this has not been resolved.

(1) event leading to the failure I was in a vehicle accident and my driver side curtain airbags did not deploy dispite the direct contact on the driver side door, which bolted the door permantly shut.
