Wheel problem #1

There was a safety recall for the rear arm control and excessive rust, Honda said they fixed it back in 2018… out of no where my car lost control and caused me to crash, I brought the car back to Honda and the rear arm bracket broke off due to excessive rust however Honda states it was repaired and there is nothing they can do, they won’t even look at the vehicle.

Wheel problem #2

I was driving down the street as I had just came off a major highway. Route 71 north. My back left frame stiffner broke off my car, had I been driving still on the highway, I could have easily been killed. There was a recall for this exact problem in canada. Why not here in the united states?.

Wheel problem #3

Vehicle tpms system indicator has come on twice. The first time it cleared itself after 3 days and the second time it has stayed on for over two weeks and is still on at this time. Vehicle was in motion both times. This system indicator also automatically turns on the vsa and ceases to monitor tire pressures when it is lit up. If one needs to disable the vsa due to driving conditions, it cannot be done. Also, any tire that is losing pressure will do so without alerting the driver.

Wheel problem #4

Driving at 30 mph, just got off the highway doing 70 mph, almost at home when making a left turn the drivers side rear wheel broke off of frame, stuck in middle of the road, police had vehicle towed to shop where I was told that the frame had rusted out and car was basically totaled. Could have been killed if happened on highway and or killed someone else. Went online and saw that Honda canada had a recall for this exact reason. Someone is going to get killed in these 2007-2011 carbs. Why canada and not USA. This is a very dangerous situation!!!!!.

Wheel problem #5

Tpms light keeps coming on depite tire pressure ok. It came on at first when I drove 11 miles. After tech turned it off (for $55) , it stayed off until I drove 11 miles. Then, it came back on. This seems to be an often reported problem judging from the number of complaints I found. Am heading back to the shop next week for one more try.

Wheel problem #6

Tpms light – (bad sensor in one of the tires?) -tpms light – will sometimes come on – when tire pressure is checked (normally set at 35 psi) tires are all in range -issue first started when I increased tire pressures in anticipation of cold weather – seems to be okay when at 35 psi -last time tpms light came on was 1/12/15 – driving at highway speeds – went off when I stopped to get gas – came on again at highway speeds – when pressure was checked morning of 1/13/15 – oleft front tire was at 30 psi oright front tire was at 33 psi oleft rear tire was at 34 psi oright rear tire was at 33 psi ¿tires were all then set to 35 psi – light has/has not come on since.

Wheel problem #7

The tpms light comes on after driving at a highway speed for about 25 minutes. Sloane Honda dealership in philadelphia PA stated that they replaced tpms unit and all four pressure sensors but to no avail.

Wheel problem #8

When I brought my car the right where did sound right so I took it back and they found something rolling around in the wheel there been three recalls since I owed this car the locks are clickin on and off the problem never fixed.

Wheel problem #9

2007 Honda crv. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle wheels installed without tpms sensors causing tire pressure monitoring system inoperable and request an investigation. The consumer believed the retailer knowingly and willingly made the tpms inoperative, by installing wheels without tpms even after the company had been advised that such action would violate the make inoperative prohibition of 49 usc 30122.

Wheel problem #10

Noise coming from the front while driving. My mechanic told me not to worry about wheel bearing as my car was relatively new(~20,000 miles). This problem started irritating me and hence took to a different mechanic and found out that front driver side wheel bearing was shot and had to be replaced. I am glad I did not get any kind of safety problems until then.

Wheel problem #11

The back passenger's side wheel had a "hot" smell coming from it. Honda service determined I had a brake pad that had gotten stuck. Brake pad was replaced, as well as fixing the rotor. The smell continued. Took the car back in and they cannot find one thing "rubbing" that would cause this "hot" smell. They are stumped. I am afraid to drive the car due to the strong smell, wondering if something is going to wear out or catch on fire. Many internet blogs have shown many, many Honda owners to be experiencing the same thing. No other tires/wheel wells smell hot - some owners believe it is due to the exhaust system next to the tire.

Wheel problem #12

The contact owns a 2007 Honda Cr-v. In inclement weather conditions, ice and snow build up excessively in the wheel wells, which makes it very difficult to make an emergency turn. While driving at various speeds, the contact heard a loud grinding noise in the tires due to the mixture of ice and gravel from the road. She filed a formal complaint with the manufacturer. The dealer stated that they were unaware of the failure. The failure and current mileages were 15,900.

Wheel problem #13

The contact owns a 2007 Honda Cr-v. While driving various speeds in icy or inclement weather, snow and ice become trapped in the wheels near the brake disc. The failure causes the vehicle to vibrate excessively. The dealer stated that unless they could duplicate the failure, a solution could not be provided. The contact filed a formal complaint with the manufacturer. The VIN and engine size were unknown. The failure mileage was 7,000 and current mileage was 9,000.
