The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle started to sputter and made a jerking motion after the engine and vehicle stability warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician diagnosed that the cylinder tube had misfired and the computer failed and needed to be replaced. In addition, the contact stated that all of the doors would lock and unlock without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the door lock actuator had failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 173,000. Pam.
